Naturopathic Health offers Naturopathic consultations and advice for all health problems.
Regardless of the symptoms you have, or your disease, our aim is to find the underlying cause.  Some illnesses are caused by a dietary imbalance, others by stress, allergies or toxins.  To treat the individual correctly we need to address the underlying cause as well as treating the symptoms,  otherwise we see symptoms improve while taking a medicine, and getting worse when the medicine is stopped.  At Naturopathic Health we recognise that this is not good health - this is only the absence of symptoms.

To understand the underlying cause of  illness often we need to do a number of tests.
In a standard Naturopathic consultation we examine the patient's underlying health with a Magnagraph reading. This provides the practitioner with a Vascular response graph, which helps the Naturopath determine what factors the body may be compensating for.

Also included in a standard Naturopathic consultation is an electrodermal screening which also may indicate certain organ stresses and stress caused by particular foods or toxins.

Hormone tests - (a) Female (b) Male (c) Sleep hormone (d) Stress Hormone tests.

(a) Female Hormone  Test measures a number of hormones, responsible for the following functions in the body:

  1. Estrogens
    - Relieves menopausal symptoms, protect against osteoporosis, heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, colon cancer, incontinence and tooth loss.
    - Enhances mental acuity and memory.
    - Increases serotonin and endorphin levels.
  2. Progesterone
    - Decreases risk of endometrial cancer, enhances mood and has a calming effect.
    - Involved in the reduction of PMS and menopausal hot flushes.
    - Regulates fluid balance.
  3. Testosterone
    - Builds muscle and promotes muscle tone, increases libido, helps strengthen bones.

(b) The Male Hormone Test  measures both DHEA and Testosterone.

(c) The Sleep Disorder Test measures Melatonin levels in the body. Melatonin is the pineal hormone responsible for regulating sleep and waking cycles and is also reported to have powerful antioxidant properties.

(d) The Stress Hormone Self Test Kit measures cortisol and DHEA levels in the body. The adrenal gland produces Cortisol the hormone that helps in responding and coping with stress, trauma, infections and environmental extremes. Cortisolalso increases energy and metabolism, helps to regulate blood pressure and decreases inflamation. DHEA helps protect against heart disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, cancer, Alzheimers Disease, Lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. It can also increase and enhance energy levels, libido, memory and immunity and protects against the effects of stress.

Urine and Saliva metabolic analysis - comprehensive analysis
This is a comprhensive analysis of urine and saliva.  Samples are tested for dissolved particle content, pH, and oxidative stress.  When this information is compared to normal ranges, a report upto 18 pages long, regarding your health and areas of stress in the body is generated.  This gives a deeper understanding of any underlying conditions, or imbalances that may be contributing to the symptoms from which you are suffering.
Fee: $45.00 + consultation fee.QFA report picture

Vascular response graph analysis

The vascular response graph shows how the body is reacting to many things, both internal and external.  There can be indications of potential  inflammation or allergies; as well as signs that may indicate poor digestion or the body dealing with viruses or fungii.  While the vascular response graph doesn't diagnose any of these conditions, it gives information that allows the practitioner to see how the body is being affected by its environment, so other tests can be arranged if needed.
Fee: included in Naturopathic consultations.
