Qualifications and Expertise

Debra Wallis

Debra completed her four year course at the South Australian College of Natural and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1993.  Since that time she has been in private practice.  For the past four years Debra has also lectured students in Children’s health at a leading Adelaide Naturopathic College.

During her time as a practitioner Debra has developed significant experience in treating a wide range of conditions.  In 1997 she began to develop specific treatments for childhood illnesses and is now considered one of the leading local practitioners in this field.

She has also researched and developed a range of effective treatments for stress management, female hormone imbalances and respiratory and digestive complaints.

Debra gained her honours in Natural Therapies for her work on pre-conceptual nutrition.  She has subsequently treated many women hoping to conceive as well as those feeling unwell after the birth of a child.  A salivary, urine and hormone test is used to enable her to provide highly specific treatments for individual patients.

Debra is able to utilize a variety of reputable tests available at the clinic in order to identify and treat a wide range of conditions in addition to those mentioned above.

She enjoys being a member of a profession that helps people to overcome their health problems.

 

Paul Kern

Paul completed his four year course at the South Australian College of Natural and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1993. 

Since that time he has gained wide ranging experience in the field of Naturopathic health.  He has developed considerable expertise in treating a wide range of health problems in his private practice.  In addition, he has worked with the leading Australian manufacturer of Homoeopathic medicines where he was involved in research and development of new products, advising Naturopaths and other health professionals as well as writing and presenting Professional seminars in Australia and New Zealand.

He has lectured at Naturopathic Colleges for over eleven years, most recently at the South Australian Health Education Centre where he presented lectures for second and final year students in the areas of Nutritional Toxicology, Tissue salts, Nutrition and Herbal medicine for male reproductive health.  For the past six years he has also written Naturopathic seminars for presentation to other Naturopaths, Chiropractors and Doctors.

Paul is able to conduct tests which measure a patient's level of metabolic activity.  This shows how effectively a person's organs are functioning and provides him with the information necessary to remedy any problems.  He also specialises in the area of Naturopathic toxicology, identifying toxins present in the body and providing natural treatments for their removal.

Paul has been a member of the Board of the Complementary Medicine Association for the past 5 years.
